Pragmatic and Creative Learning Style

I now know my learning styles. Do you know yours?

1. If you were required to act in a play, would you prefer to
a) have the director tell me how to say my lines
or
b) read my lines the way I think they should be read

2. Do you prefer courses that have
a) a traditional structure (lectures, assigned readings, periodic exams, and assignments with deadllines).
or
b) an informal structure (clas discussioins, flexible assignments and students selected projects)

3. How would you begin an ideal day?
a) planing what I want to do during each hour of the day
or
b) doing whatever comes to mind

4. If you work in a factory, wuld you prefer to be
a) a machine operator
or
b) troubleshooter

5. In selecting a topic for a research paper, what is your more important concern?
a) choosing a topic for which there is adequate information
or
b) choosing a topic I find interesting

6. When you are able to solve a problem, what is usually because you have
a) worked through the solutioin step by step
or
b) brainstormed until you arrived at a solution

7) If you had one last elective course to take before graduation, you would chose one that presents
a) practical information that you can use immediately
or
b) ideas that make you think and stimulate your imagination

If your answers are mainly "a" then you are a pragmatic leaner while you are a creative learner if "b"
